  • Does Blackline Tattoo require a deposit?

    A deposit is mandatory when scheduling an appointment at Blackline Tattoo. The deposit amount ranges from $50 to $100, depending on the size of the tattoo. This deposit is then deducted from the total cost of your tattoo on the day of your appointment.

  • Is my deposit refundable?

    Deposits are non-refundable at Blackline Tattoo. The deposit covers the artist's preparation time and materials for your tattoo appointment, as well as reserving your specific appointment slot.

  • How much does a tattoo cost?

    The cost of a tattoo at Blackline Tattoo varies based on factors such as size, placement, and style. Larger pieces may be priced on an hourly basis. You will receive a price estimate when booking your appointment.

  • Does Blackline Tattoo have numbing cream?

    Blackline Tattoo offers numbing cream for purchase. If you wish to use numbing cream, please inform us at the start of your appointment. Most creams should be applied 45 to 90 minutes before the tattoo session begins, but can also be applied during the appointment to alleviate pain and discomfort.

  • Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

    You are permitted to bring one person with you into the tattoo area during your appointment. While families and children are welcome in our studio and lobby, we kindly ask that you be considerate if bringing young children.

  • Will my tattoo hurt?

    Getting a tattoo generally involves some level of discomfort. The intensity of the sensation can vary depending on the area of the body being tattooed.

  • How soon can I go swimming after my tattoo?

    It is advisable to wait approximately three weeks before submerging your new tattoo in water or swimming in the ocean. This allows adequate time for the tattoo to heal properly.

  • Can I get a tattoo touchup?

    Blackline Tattoo provides a complimentary touchup within one year of your original appointment. Please note that touchups differ from reworks. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask us.

  • Can I get a tattoo or piercing if I am under 18?

    Blackline Tattoo can provide tattoo and piercing services to minors, but state law requires a signed parental consent form. Please bring identification and the signed consent form to your appointment. Please contact us if you need to print the consent form in advance or have any questions.
